Massage is one of the earliest forms of physical therapy. 


The purpose of massage is to manipulate and relax soft tissues, increasing the flow of blood and oxygen, decreasing any pain and promoting healing and overall wellbeing.

It is achieved by the rubbing and kneading of muscles and joints of the body mainly using the hands.

Sports massage is a form of massage designed to assist in correcting problems and imbalances caused from repetitive and strenuous physical activity and trauma.


The application of sports massage, prior to and after exercise, may enhance performance, aid recovery and prevent injury.
